I got a peach slip in my mailbox today, says I missed delivery on a "magazine/magazine size envelope". I don't know what it could possible be, the thing of it is the slip not only says I need to sign for it, but that $1.61 in postage is due...?

One forum says it would be something that I sent being returned, but that doesn't make sense because I don't think I've ever sent anything larger than a letter, and it would seem if I tried to mail something that didn't send I'd just get a RTS...

Whats up here?

The only thing I would think it could be would be some promo material from Taurus or Beretta, but what huge assholes they would be for sending me something knowing I'd have to pay the shipping on, lol.

...and how can you send something without postage? What the blazes is going on here...?

I send and receive tons of stuff through the mail and have never seen that. I've had stuff returned because I didn't put enough postage but ive never been asked to pay postage on something someone else sent.

I don't know whats going on. I have to drive over there and sign for it and pay the money (apparently) to figure it out. Of course they're open from 8:30-5:00, the most convenient times for people that work or have anything going on...

What would something have to weigh to need $1.61 in postage? That seems like a lot...
