I'm pretty sure you can turn the show supporters things on and off even though it always shows the spot for it. I've seen albums by decently established artists that were for sale and it was blank and the odds of no one buying their stuff was pretty low.

And for the Crave stuff nah. Never even heard of that. I just heard the X album a couple weeks ago and liked it a lot and then downloaded the free XX EP on the page which is pretty good too. Besides that I really don't know much about dude and had never even heard of him prior to stumbling upon that album via a blog that posted a youtube for one of the songs.
