So basically pick some shit that will set you up for success after the military
the recruiter will be mostly straight up with you, but when they send you to this place called MEPS where you actually pick you job its the recruiters there that try hard to give you bullshit jobs. You literally gotta hold your ground on what you want.

just a warning though, if you really do join the military right now the whole military is drawing down numbers and most recruiters have already hit their recruitment goals for the year. So you probably won't get much of anything for a bonus, might have to wait a few months before you get shipped to basic training to even get started and promotion potential is gonna really suck since there won't be as many open spots after E-4.
the Army life itself ain't really too bad, its the people that make it garbage, and you literally can't do anything about it either. Someone who outranks you tells you to do some really retarded shit that makes absolutely no sense you gotta do it. No such thing as saying "no" or quitting the job.
