I usually cut my beard after about a month in a half, I need to let that shit grow one time though, I also make my own natural beard wax out of beeswax a lil Vaseline,lemon and argan oil.

Gave up too soon. Your 1st, 2nd beard is probably gonna look shitty. You gotta let it grow out a couple times, then shave down. Then when its comin in properly you gotta stay with it; at least 2 months. Then you can start trimming/shaping and stuff.
