hahaha I basically developed a way to see if the brain processes various rules of language using different systems or the same system.

gender, number and phonological article/noun agreement (the ones I've tested so far) engage the same neural processes. The dissertation was a proof of method, so now I go out and get a job and really start to apply my index more broadly.

thats psychiatry--the medical version of psychology. Psychology is a really broad umbrella ranging from 'tell me your feelings' counselor type stuff to basic neuroscience research like I do. I always hate telling people I do psychology research because they always assume I want to know about their problems and shit.
