I really don't know how a place can be hipster but no, I wouldn't say it is. Although I'm sure "hipster" bands/acts have played there. It's a non profit that puts on shows where a portion of the ticket sales and stuff they sell there (soda, food, etc) goes toward for free music lessons, classes, etc for kids. All the shows are always all ages too. A lot of it is geared at keeping kids off the streets, staying away from drugs, etc which is why I said it's funny he's playing there seeing what he raps about.
