i dont get how the city is paying metro 400,000 a year to have the ride free zone, and they want to cut it, but they still have to pay them 400,000 a year for two free "mini-busses" that run 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. wtf is the point of cutting it if you pay the same anyway lol. the only one who 'wins' is metro, who says they stand to gain 2 million in extra fares by doing this.

they arent even disguising the fact that they arent doing it to save the city money; theyre just basically bullying the vagrants and junkies off of the buses in the downtown core and making them ride the short bus lol

I could be totally wrong but aren't they talking about the buses that go pick up the disabled and elderly and drop them off at their destination? If they are those people have to apply and be accepted for the program. My grandma used to use it a lot until she got too old to be out on her own. If not I have no idea what the fuck the two free minibuses they are talking about are then lol.
