CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A woman was rescued Monday after she became stranded in flood waters at a transient camp in Clackamas County early Monday evening.
Authorities said the transient camp was located near the North Clackamas Aquatic Park, along Mt. Scott Creek.
KGW's Sky-8 helicopter helped searchers locate the woman as the camp filled up with water.
Brandon Paxton with the Clackamas Fire Department said the woman was with her dog and rescuers were trying to bring her to safety around 5 p.m.
Clackamas County rescuers were able to bring a small boat in to get the woman and her dog to safety.
