In the little over a hour I've been down here I've had about 50 people come up to buy tickets and like 30 of them are for Skyfall which we didn't get and is down the street. This is going to be a long and slow night.
No we are the biggest theatre in the downtown Seattle area actually. Our competitor (AMC) is just down the street literally a block away and it goes back and forth on who gets what and neither of us ever show the same movie at the same time because thhe studios won't allow us to. Usually it's pretty even when it comes to big releases who gets what or maybe slightly one-sided like 60/40 during peak busniness times for movies but we simply killed them this last summer. We got 90% of the big movies then so we are kind of expecting them to get most of the winter movies.
