I dated a girl who was blackfeet (which I gather is a totally seperate tribe from blackfoot). She was raised on the rez in montana and she took me to a couple pow-wows which were pretty fucking rad.

If i was native I would hate white people with a passion.

Blackfoot and blackfeet is the same, interchangable name. My tribe is blackfeet, they're all from Montana and Alberta, Canada area. If I wanted to I could move to Montana and get a free couple acres of land on the rez, but who the fuck wants to live in the middle of nowhere in Montana, i've never even been to Montana lol

I've never seen that movie, but I know all about Leonard Peltier. I actually lived on the Pine Ridge rez in South Dakota where that shit with him and the FBI happened for awhile when I was a teenager.

Rode thru Montana on my way to Sturgis back in 99 & that was one of the best rides I had ever gone on.

There were so many bikes on the road @ the same time, we were getting tiddie flashes the entire ride from Cali.

I'm guessing the tribal land in Montana is the same. The biggest towns on rez's are actually tiny ass towns and all the free land for people who want it is far as fuck away.

And most of those small towns on the rez are ghetto as fuck. Crime like crazy, bodies showing up in ditches, and the tribal police don't give a fuck and don't even investigate.

I know a few pregnant teenage bitches when I was younger that got the coathanger abortion.

The rez is grimey, well at least all the ones in South Dakota are, don't know about other places.

Watch that movie Thunderheart with Val Kilmer or that episode of Gangland that showed the gang from Pine Ridge, you wouldn't want to live there lol

yeah most tribes on the West Coast seem to be a lot better off than the ones in the Midwest. Always wondered why the spots in the midwest had so much poverty and violence.
