Most people hate Juggalos because we've spent extended periods of time around them and know what to generally expect. Yes there are some here who are blind with their rage towards juggalos but more often than not it's founded. I grew up in the midwest, which if you don't know, is Juggalo Mecca. Shit, it's almost always where that fucking gathering is. You know how fat hairy bikers usually go to any and all metal shows? Even if they don't like the band? That's how it is with Juggalos at EVERY concert in the midwest. And Juggalos are just like MSI fans at shows. They knock peoples' beers out of their hands, flirt with your girlfriend, punch people in the face even when there's not a pit going, run around yelling obnoxious shit, and generally show up already very fucked up on some combination of cheap beer and meth/pcp/coke (if they can afford it)/extacy/speed and are obnoxious as fuck. In fact, I have been to plenty of shows where the Juggalowlives are there hours in advance, tailgating in the parking lot, before the concert even starts.
And if that weren't enough, most Juggalowlives I've known had some sort of dependency issue with uppers (speed/meth/coke/crack/extacy/etc) and almost all had no problem in beating on women or dating women obscenely younger than them (it's very common in the midwest to see a 23-26 year old Juggalo with a 12-14 year old Juggalette "girlfriend") to the point of pedophilia. They bum cigarettes all the time, they steal, they hang out at the mall all fucking day and harass people who aren't 'underground' or 'down' enough (translation: doesn't wear tripp pants with 94535738573 unnecessary chains on them and doesn't wear a ketchup stained ICP shirt), they never have money for anything but always seem to have money for face paint, ICP merch, drugs and tickets to the gathering.
They encourage a subculture based upon music which has messages of misogyny, glorification of rape and murder, violence, claims to be all accepting but is horrendously full of homophobic messages all made by two no talent middle school drop out hacks who mock rape victims and make them cry. And on a less deep, more shallow level...have you fucking seen a lot of them?
Missing teeth, morbidly obese or skeleton meth head skinny (literally no inbetween there), 'alternatively' dyed hair that is always faded to shit or they just have that stupid coolio hair they call their 'domes', meth/extacy sores all over their faces, backne, poorly done clown make up, etc.
I don't care how you slice it, you have to be willfully ignorant to purport and promote this lifestyle. I mean, fucking hell, even their symbol, the all mighty 'hatchet', is a testament to their ignorance as it is not a hatchet, but a meat cleaver. They know this. Their fans know this. But they chose to refer to it as a hatchet. Knowing something is inaccurate, and still preaching it as true and believing in it, is willful ignorance.
But then again, Violent J proudly admits he didn't even reach High School. If you're proud of that, I guess there's really nothing more to say.
And are these stereotypes ALWAYS true? No. But the fact that they usually are is enough to not really encourage one to give the few and far between the benefit of the doubt any time soon.
