well, it's unusual for the bay area to be as hot as it is during this time of the year...and i don't recall the last time i experienced 95-100 degree weather in october, so i'm unsure as to why you find that comical

but honestly, it's nothing to me...because i lived in sacramento for 3.5 years, and it gets hot, like up into the triple digits constantly in the valley during the summer
