this is a pretty nice subreddit i used to look at pictures and recipes and such. 1200 is obviously a very small amount... that's like the demands for a 5'4 130lb girl trying to diet down to 115 lol... but its nice for the mind to see plates of tasty looking food with several ingredients, or with several different things on it, or little things that people put together that are super tasty and really low calorie. helps gives you ideas for variety and ive seen some inventive things in there. i think the best posts are the ones where they say like "had a really huge dinner! 1000 calories" or something similar and theres like 7 different things on the plate and it all looks amazing. even though lets say the potato salad on the plate might just be like 3tbsp worth... a half cup of mashed potatos with gravy, the prime rib will be like a little 3oz portion, maybe 4 total fried brussel sprouts with maybe a half of a piece of bacon worth of diced bacon, other stuff, but it looks like a massive feast and you realize you can eat really good and satisfying food with portion control
