You seem like the type that would recognize this as proof that 'Today' is what matters most, a reminder to keep living the most positive life to the maximum potential. Especially with having young kids. I'd probably react extremely negatively and self-destruct at least for awhile

it gets me down
but as crazy as it sounds i wanted to keep playing when it happened. I was 21 and felt invincible. got 3 different opinions from different docs to try and get an approval
its not that i thought i would of went pro but i didn't have that last game where i knew it was over, it happened in the middle of the season and never got to put the pads back on
I only played for 9 years imagine those nfl guys head problems that have been playing for 15-20 years

i self destruct about 2 days a week unfortunately but i'm trying to get better
i treat others good all the time just not myself i guess

i was able to get a scholarship, free education throw for over 20 tds in a year in college
date hooters girls and strippers and have a ball in college

all those things wouldn't have been able to do without football

proper technique is key

but i was getting hit as a qb i wasn't delivering the hits
