I like how "maybe I should drop maybe $500 tops on decent sound for the tv / pc" turned into just the fucking A/V receiver costing about that much itself lol. Ranging in the $1200-2400 range and they're not even full surround set ups just pieced together 3.0 or 2.1 or 3.1 stereo setups (granted they'd sound far better than any shitty boxed set of multiple tiny speakers or some shitty bose soundbar)

Audio is expensive. At least if i do it right it'll be a 5+ year investment. I dropped nearly 2k on this tv 4+ years and it still looks better than anything i see in the stores or even brand new tv's like some 65" 4k tv my friends brother bought that loojs like absolute ass; super bright screen (like even if ppl are in a dim room you can see shit that you shouldn't be able to see), splotchy shadows horrible contrast horrible cold blueish coloring just absolutely fucking awful even with great source content

I want to get these piano black high gloss floor stands on some ultra bachelor aesthetics type stuff but I already know some dumb ass kid is going to fuck it up. One of my friends brother lets his kid do literally whatever he wants its a nightmare. He's like 3 years old i almost kicked him in the face for throwing a full Strawberry soda can at me that barely missed; then he got into my friends truck and started it up and locked everyone out and was trying to legit drive it and he thought it was funny

Damn kid scratches my piano black 2k+ speakers or mess around with my TV it might be a quadruple murder suicide lol

Damn people with kids always have that "They're just kids" mentality. It's not my fault you had kids and can't have nice stuff any more don't inflict your misery on me. I might have to go full anti-child proof like "oh sorry don't know if you should go over there. We have swords and guns all over the walls, and there's porn everywhere and open containers of alcohol and piles of drugs better just never bring your kids over ever"
