Something dealing with people one on one like in a senior center, hospital, or therapist's office.

I don't have the nursing training, but there's a lot of jobs in the medical field that only require college credit and a background in that field.

I've done work with kids with developmental disabilities and sales in my career, and I hate sales.

Anymore, businesses want you to hock some kind of add-on on top of cleaning, selling, maintaining, etc. and I'm pretty tired of it.

I'll take what I can get, though.
Look at the local hospitals at like client support for their offices or lab, id be theyd be willing to let you cross-train and/or inevitably transfer to something thats working with people. When I worked at a hospital after 6 months you could apply to transfer, I was looking to transfer to lift tech before I got let go. I guess what Im getting at is look for a side door...

Lol, it sucks when you fill out so many online applications that you start to forget applications youve already filled out like "hey, this one looks good." And you get 3 pages deep and you get "this email is already in use." Lol.
lol I've already did that today.

What's worse is sitting down for 45 minutes answering a stupid questionnaire, the one with 100 variations of the same question, only for your app to be turned down because you live too far away, despite the fact you're moving into the area.

I was pissed I had wasted all that time.

You could always be Action Bronson's stunt double.
LOL I just need to get fatter, shorter, and grow out my beard.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting into. I've filed a few apps at Mercy Hospital like specialist, driving, and admin assistant.

So far, a few of them have been denied, but I've got like 7 that are still pending.

I've put in 3 dozen applications across the city, and I have no leads.

I'm beginning to think I have the worst work history ever.
it's just the economy breh. I filled out so many applications before I found my job now. actually my job now I landed through a temp agency, and got hired on full time

not sure what kinda job you're looking for, but that's always a good route because the agency will find jobs for you. companies are way mroe likely to take a risk on you as a contractor. in my department at my job I've never seen us hire any outside employees, it's always hiring contractors and then bringing them on full time

good luck breh

Thanks. I may have to try the temp agency in town.

I've done that before with good results, but I was a fuck-off back in the day and lost the job.

That was like 6 years ago.

yeah, just check it out... try to schedule an interview in the office rather than just applying online. if they know your face/personality they're more likely to want to go the extra mile and make you looks goof. they'll also help you with your resume. when I went to this agency they told me they had something in mind for me that day, had an interview scheduled a week later, and I was working a week after that.
