All my vape pens have either been lost or stopped working. I thought I found a good one in the omicron V4, but it went out on me this weekend after only a couple months of use. I finally just got one of those gold drop pens and a few cartridges. Kind of expensive, but they last if you're not constantly taking rips

With these pens the failure point is always the battery, so the best thing to do is use a device with a removable battery, then you just swap in swap out as needed or when one battery dies, then recharge it. The life cycle for the batteries becomes significantly longer, and they're much better batteries. A pen with an internal battery might fail for something as simple as the soldering seperating a little or something extremely minor that could be fixed by opening it up and barely touching a couple wires, but no one is going to do that or does that unless they're super broke. I usually suggest people just get a unit like an eleaf 40w or something but that's mostly because people don't want to buy a charger, buy separate batteries, plus the vape unit, plus the coils.

I'd suggest something but I don't know what's going on with pens, ive lagged a couple years behind. I think the best options nowadays are just an actual glass rig with one of those electronic nails you plug into the wall and is always ready to go so you don't have to deal with the torch and shit

Just curious, why do you vape rather than smoke?

I've never really been an expert but I always thought it was to get more use out of smaller quantities to save money, and to prevent inhaling potentially harmful matter. But surely if you have to keep spending out on new gear, the benefits of vaping would be totally negated.

Is that right, or am I talking utter nonsense?

Butcher I had an MVP2 unit that lasted me like 2 years and i would just put new skillets on it...it was a great battery it held up like a tank and never ran out. My wife originally got it for me for nicotine while in rehab, but I only did that for a little while. It took me a while to realize I could use it with any 510 attachment (dummy), but it worked so good. The battery for this new thing was only 10 bucks and it serves it's purpose

Grim I work in an office and I can't be sitting at my desk reeking like pot. I gotta be stealthy

Hood Rat Matt @Hood Rat Matt

This is my current atomizer

^ to the left are coils, and they screw into the all stainless steel part and you cap it off, its pretty hefty.

^
these are what the coils look like. I'm using the type on the left of this pic. Just stick your extract down in there and fire it and boil it with your vape pen

^
the guy sent me these "Ceramic Miracle Coils" too to test out by I haven't touched wax for like a month and haven't tested them out yet, but people are saying they're pretty good. It's a wire buried under ceramic, basically like a ceramic heating element so your oil isn't touching metal

^
it wasn't really hard to figure out that he just rebranded another product out of china and re-sold it. about 99% of vape products are just rebranded. This is the actual original, this "Ecapple atomizer" or whatever it is.

^
here is basically the exact same thing, rebranded again, and a review on it. Far as I can tell this is the latest way to go and is getting popular, but then again like I said I've been majorly lagging on this stuff.

Black IPV D3 80 watt TC Temp Control Box Mod by Pioneer4you

This is my actual vape device. You use swappable 18650 batteries

18650 LG 18650HG2 3000mAh High Discharge Flat Top - Batteries - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers
^
These are the best batteries (you're not doing serious sub-ohm hobbyist style cloud ecig type vaping so you don't need ones with 30A max continuous discharge or anything like that, it's overkill, you want battery life over extreme performance under extreme conditions)

Nitecore D2 Digicharger Li-ion, NiMH/NiCd Charger - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers
^best charger

So damn, this post got long. uh

Yeah man if you're tired of the units breaking, id suggest finding a nice well reviewed ecig with removable 18650 batteries that can handle 15+ watts, grabbing 2 of those batteries and that charger, and from there you can get some serious power to some coils and use something like the thing i posted that absolutely rips almost like a dab but just not quite there, or maybe see whats up with these new ecapple ceramic coils. You do it right around holidays or when theres vape sales, at the right sites, you could probably piece together everything for $70-100. I know "spend more money" is a terrible solution but im bored as fuck, and want to type
