"Let's have them scuffle in front of the 80,000 people watching on youtube that will sell us some more PPV's!!" lol
Exactly lol. It generates hype and gets more people interested in it who wouldn't normally care. Stuff like that ends up in news clips across local news-stations across the country when they need to burn some time, ends up on click-bait articles, spreads everywhere

What do you mean "already sold" is there like a max amount of pay-per-views that can be sold or something or its too late to order?
As in it's already guaranteed to do over a million. They literally don't need it to sell.

That scuffle was definitely fabricated. And it definitely does generate more excitement therefore more revenue. Garnette there will be a headline about it
80,000 people were watching that stream and the headlines will be on bullshit sites like MMAweekly and Yahoo Sports. What would be the point of faking and staging that?

It won't be on news stations across the country, it will be on MMA websites. People who read MMA websites and those 80,000 watching on youtube were already interested.

If that was the case why don't have have fighters who don't sell as much get in fabricated scuffles?

I don't appreciate how you called me your best friend earlier, and now you're calling someone else your best friend. That's kind of fucked up, it makes me feel like you never really meant it earlier when you called me your best friend. Well fuck off man, I don't need your fake friendship

(no cesilito if applicable)
Oh.

Of course they want to milk every possible penny they can. I mean I don't follow the UFC, so I generally will just agree with your opinion, but I Look at Dana White and I see a genuine psychopathic genius right there, just like Vince McMahon. I see someone who wants to create a multi-billion dollar empire and would do pretty much anything. It even has this feel from the outside looking in like theres scripting certain fighters rise to the top, certain fighters being fed fights to win to milk ppv's before the big yearly payperview ie just like the wwe champ / the monthly ppv's before wrestlemania. So honestly I'm pretty quick to make huge leaps and suspend trust pretty quick, say things like that stuff looked fake and the fights probably fake. I dunno maybe I'm seeing something that's not there, like i siad i dont follow it, you do lol

I was just kidding I don't fucking care, in fact I do the same thing multiple times a day lol. I tell people they're my best friend / friend / only best friend, but really, I hate each and every single one of you especially you, and there's only one single person who I consider my best friend. jake921660 @jake921660 (no cesilito if applicable)

I only exist to lie, spread non-appreciation and non-support, disband friendships, promote dangerous unhealthy lifestyles with high mortality rates, promote drug and alcohol abuse, promote degeneracy of the mind, and spread cancer Mac Jesus @Mac Jesus , tbh,

The problem with that is McGregor has fought nothing but killers since he joined the UFC. He's literally had no gimme fights. There's also no big yearly PPV like Wrestlemania in the UFC, they're all equally big, so what are they building up to?

a Mayweather vs a Mayweather lol. build up the sport with constant hype until you're pitting nothing but big draws vs big draws

If the UFC wanted that they would have kept their old business model instead of signing an additional couple hundred fighters, expanding globally, and doing 50 shows a year instead of their old 10 a year lol

When did this happen?

That's probably part of what's misleading my minimal perception of the ufc... If I was never really paying attention to them cause it was all these cards with who the hell knows who vs who knows who, all the time, it'd be easy to ignore. But moving to 10 a year is kind of like the wrestling 12 PPV's a year, then seeing the build-ups to the fights cause the sport is getting more popular and picking up on the almost monthly ppv vibes and catching some of the hypes before the ppv's, feels like that wrestling vibe.

of course it's not scripted at the actual fight level, thats why wrestling is dead as fuck and the UFC is only growing. shits real. im sure if it was even minimally rigged ppl would expose it pretty quick.

but yeah everybody knew that shit was going to happen and at the very least told them a little swipe at each other wasn't a big deal, just don't actually fight for real or get suspended / arrested etc., lol. was making the huge leap of "that was rigged for hype / its all fake" for discussion more than anything

"We don't need any more publicity or money" said no company ever.
