I had a homie in the Army that almost died from staph infection. Dude broke his ankle playing basketball. His ankle got all full of staph infection and almost killed him. Dude was laid up for like 6 months.

one of my friends almost died because of staph. he had what he thought was a little spider bite then within a day it grew to this massive god awful looking thing. the hospital was stupid as fuck and they kept messing up with giving him antibiotics basically they kept increasing the staph's resistance to antibodies then eventually they had to give him one of those tubes straight to the heart, and a machine, and siad "this is the last option, there's nothing else we can do if this fails" and gave him antibiotics to put in the machine himself lol. shit was fucked
