The draw usually gets called cause no one calls the draw; they see a defense expecting the deep pass and the offense might even be running the deep pass then the qb calls the draw hoping to sneak a big play 1st. At the same time they know if it fails a punts better than a possible interception. Russell wilson probably thought the draw had a good chance. They don't go out there like "fuck it lets just waste this play on 2 yds play it safe" lol
