shit was mainy and the only person who even tried to help was some random black chick, everyone else just acted like nothing was happening.
Man it pisses me off so bad when people don't help out in situations like that. I don't understand it. When I was 19 I had to do the Heimlich maneuver in Subway on this employee who was choking on his sandwich on his lunch break because nobody else did shit. I hadn't done the shit since middle school CPR class so I didn't even really remember how to do it.

When I noticed he was choking I looked around and saw like 15 grown ass adults just standing there staring at him and not doing anything. I made the decision that I had to help the kid or I would never live with myself if we all watched him choke to death. I ended up performing it on him the best I could remember (which wasn't totally correct) and he stopped choking. I look back up and everybody is still standing there staring and doing nothing. I thought maybe somebody would say "hey nice job man" or ask the kid if he was ok but it was just blank stares.

The kid thanked me and I got the hell out of there. It was fucking weird.

He probably would have if I had stuck around. One funny thing about it is while he was choking he was drooling out half chewed sandwich bits all over the floor. When it was over he went and got a mop and had to clean that up himself lol.

the doc said it was a combo of the heat, her being dehydrated and her not eating.

we have tried to explain to her hella times that its important to eat and drink water. when it happened i was waiting with my son and i looked over and saw her arms drop/ drop her gameboy and then go limp and drop. luckly my wife was right there and my daughter said she didnt feel good like 10 seconds before and she grabbed her before she hit the ground.

i ran over and grabbed her, at first i thought she was having a seizure (made sure she wasnt) but then i noticed she was ghost white with no color at all.

some white lady came over and said she passed out bc she was anorexic. like wtf, dont check to see if my daughters ok just voice you're dumbass opinion of a 10 year old girl.
Fuck man that had to be scary, im glad shes alright.

I bet the lady that said she was anorexic was probably some fat lard bitch who just wanted to feel good about herself she probably blogged about it later, fat bitch

is it weird that there was no emotion on my part and i just reacted? my wife freaked out but i didnt even flinch, my main goal was to keep her awake and make sure she was ok.
It's not weird it's great that you kept control in a situation like that. Your instincts kicked in when they were needed.

If you and your wife are both freaking out and nobody else around you is helping then nobody is giving your daughter the proper care she needs. Good job man.

Glad your daughter is alright WT. Sounds like hypoglycemia to me. I had never seen someone pass out until I started working at the theatre and now I've seen a few dozen over the years and all but one off the top of my head was hypoglycemia aka low blood sugar. It's fairly common and usually not a big worry overall but scary as fuck for sure.
