Copped a 1984 BMW 318i (@ELPOLLITO is bout the bimmers)... fun as hell to drive 5 speed, not really fast linear, but tossable around the bends - i'm going to have a drop a few more grand to make it g as hell. Maybe few years down the line a m50 swap/ or turbo.
Need to:
- Drop it with new shocks and springs
- Bumper tuck
- Cold air intake and exhaust
- Change out water pump system and hoses
- Change timing chain
- upgrade brakes
- Change out some gaskets
- Change out headers
- Get a stereo
- Tint the windows
- Replace all rubber hose, and connects, and seals
- fix the cluster
- 4.10 diff
- wheel spacers
- probably remove fog light
I'm basically doing all the work myself... only if I need a shop lift. Good starting point though, just trying to make it a funny daily driver:
