Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (BX80646I54690K) - PCPartPicker

MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card (GTX 970 GAMING 4G) - PCPartPicker

Man I'm already seeing controversy ppl saying "the 290" is just as good for $100 cheaper. Thats what everyone said about my old video card but it wasn't future proof at all and was a huge mistake
lol I'm fucking around and making you a build right now and picked that same processor and video card.

Now I remember, it was the choice between a 9800 pro and a 9600xt or whatever it was called. Everyone said the 9600xt was just as good. It was then but a couple years goes by and its shit. Same with the processor. It was great for like a couple years then it was constantly maxed out. Shoulda got the more expensive version of each

Just got done downloading Guild Wars 2. Bought it like 2 years ago and played it for like 5 hours, haven't touched it since. Game seemed dope as fuck, just didn't have time at the time. Cool as hell they update it every 2 weeks and there's no monthly subscription.

Bout to mobb

I need a new PC bad. All my shit is old as fuck but it still plays a lot of games at mid settings at 50fps or so. Definitely can't go ultra anymore, but it still looks decent.

Definitely don't have much more time left with it though.
I'm not sure what I need with this tv. I mean its a top of the line panasonic plasma, there are insanely high contrast ratios and 600hz refresh rate, 1080p all that. So it should look phenomenal. But it'll be that lower resolution like 1900x1080 whatever it is. Not sure if it'd be better to get a dedicated monitor or even a 4k monitor
