It looks like a usb stick, that plugs into the hdmi port on your tv and is loaded with all the apps; Netflix, hbogo, hulu, amazon prime, etc...So if you don't have a smart tv, you basically do now minus web browsing. Similar products are roku and chromecast. But chromecast doesn't come with a remote, you have to use your phone or computer.
