Fa'real... its all about core work out, and a lot of leg workouts like dead lift, and overhead press not only work legs, but abs and all those little intrinsic muscles that lock up your body frame.

I'm the opposite of what most people are shooting for when lifting. I'm trying to get stronger/ cut, while getting lean. I'm trying to drop to like 185 by late January for a tournament. I'm like 197, after weighing this morning - I need to be on strict calorie deficit, which is fucking hard in the holiday season.

I am on the same path you are fam, I am trying to drop 20 pounds of fat & gain 10 of muscle. I wanna get lean & cut, I aint been that since the 90's

even when i was in the gym daily for a few years back in like 05-09 I got hella swoll but not as defined as I want.

this time I've completely cut my calorie intake down to (pretty much) only clean foods & half my previous intake.

I started out almost 6 weeks ago (tomorrow would be a full 6) @ 272 pounds.
I weighed in last night at 249.

I got a goal of 220 & then it's all gonna be about intense building.

Yea you should see rapid gains from the start. When I got back into working out I saw rapid change of like 235 to about 210... then from 210 to where I'm out now was slower. Sticking around the 200 mark is easy, getting below it now takes some real discipline in food intake, and working out.

How tall are you, for your goal 220? If eating well, you should easily get to 210 to be honest.

I am 6'1 almost 6'2, with a pretty big frame.

I seriously look like a tweaker anything under 215.

last time I was 210 I was on major drugs.
