I've seen Modest Mouse 3 times, always great. The best was right before We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank dropped they played an abandoned naval academy gymnasium here and the whole set was like nautical themed. Maybe 350, 400, people there tops. Tickets sold out in under 5 minutes but I was luckily enough to score three for me and my two friends. Was an awesome night and they were on their A game and it was when Johnny Marr had just joined the band too so that was awesome because I never got to see The Smiths live and they did a cover of There Is A Light That Never Goes Out during the encore.
