this damn job market is rough, i've dropped 15 applications to hourly type spots, submitted a resume on Monster.com and submitted resumes to a few career type jobs all in the last 3 weeks. Not 1 damn call back

it's cause all this shit is automated now, you always gotta put in applications and resumes online. Back in the day you just go to a spot, say "can I talk to your hiring manager", fill out an app and get the job.

Now with this bullshit online shit you gotta wait on them, they even mention a million times on the website "don't call or come in asking about the job", so you gotta rely on people actually looking at these online applications

This is some ol bullshit

kind of weird he took a pay cut to chase a championship when he just won a championship a couple years back and the Celtics just picked up some players that could easily have them winning another one next year.

I think it used to be proper etiquette, now everything is all anti-social

Every job I ever got in the past before the Army was given to me on the spot from walking in and speaking with a manager personally. Now it's like nobody wants to talk to anybody.

When the Cox Cable guy hooked my cable up I asked him if they were hiring and he said he went in and asked and they told him to fill out the application online and it took like 3 weeks to get a call back.

That shit is fucking stupid

id wait until at least 7 days has passed, maybe even two weeks, and then send an email, and be like, Hi my name is blahblah i submitted an application on this date, then ask if they received the application, but dont be like "Yo son wtf are you hiring me or not whats your fuckin deal"

I got one interview since i've lived here and it seemed like the damn manager that talked to me was a scared little faggot. Like he was nervous doing the interview lol and it was for a fucking job serving tables and I didn't even get a call back for the supposed second interview I had to do with the General Manager. 3 weeks since that interview and I've turned in a ton of apps and nothing.

I see over 30,000 jobs posted online in Phoenix everyday, with my resume I should easily get something making at least $40,000 plus at bare minimum entry level and I can't even get a job serving tables lol wtf

I keep forgetting to download some of Despot's stuff then I remember dude doesn't have an offical album or anything. Just random songs. He killed his set.. made me a fan from that. Dude is funny as fuck too.

I need to go back and give some El-P stuff another chance too. I've always liked his beats but I was feeling almost all the songs he did live at the show. Then again I was really drunk and pretty damn high and there was that whole concert vibe to it of course.
