wish i could help you but i have no idea what a good blu-ray player / speakers for a tv would be.

i just use my ps3 and supposedly its a good blu-ray player built in, but i doubt you want to spend like 300 bucks on a ps3 just to use a blu-ray player LOL

i was going to buy a sound bar for my tv but i said fuck it, the sound i got on the tv is loud enough. i rarely even turn it up past 10, i think the highest i turned it up was like to 30 and that wasnt even half way up

the sound is good but when the kids are running around i need it to be louder, and i dont wanna blow the tv speakers. when i get off work i watch movies at 10 but with 2 kids running around i need it to be louder.

+ dvd quality sucks on big screens, i can tell the difference between 480 1080 and when its on ch 3 (analog) dvds looked washed out

i never watch the regular stations cause they look like shit, HD only. and it sucks when youre watching an HD channel and a commercial comes on in standard definition, looks like complete ass lol
