Yeah Pun was a beast. I won't even front I kind of slept on him till right before his passing because his radio/hit songs were just alright to me but his album tracks that weren't trying to be radio friendly were on some other shit.

Dude also spit one of the best verses ever on this

Pun had it all.

Big L and Pun left the biggest holes (badoom tsss) in hip-hop. Not to take anything away from ODB and Guru, but they were older, I think they had already made their best music. I don't mean that negatively at all because they were amazing.

But I think Pun and L had a lot left in the tank, that Guru and ODB probably didn't.

I doubt it though, lol.

Dude lost and gained so much weight in a few years. He'd lose 100 pounds and then put 150 back on. He was something ~700 at one point I read.

You can hear him breathing and fat-guy day time snoring while he was rapping. Dude would be on a stool in the booth.
