I read that Lil Jeff was Lil Jay's twin brother, but didn't hear about the story about he got killed. Where'd you read this?

Also, I find it weird that Lil Jay never shouts out his brother on songs...I usually hear him shout out Lil Jojo, Tooka, etc...

Chicago Fly Boy Gang Rapper Lil Jeff Murdered On Mother's Day

I can't remember where the actual details were given though. I think it might have actually been in one of the many news write ups about the gang wars in Chicago that have came out in the last couple of years.

Yeah I've noticed that too but he did have a whole song about him on his tape

Supposedly it was some dude's from Eastside Hammond, Indiana that smoked him. That's why Jay says "catch a East Haiti nigga Imma put his ass to rest." which is a nickname for that part of Hammond. A lot of Eastside Hammond and Southside Chicago gangs funk I guess because they are close to each other and East Hammond is a major drug route into Chicago.
