Was the race thing NOT a big issue during his trial?? I believe that was a HUGE part of it...if I recall correctly. But, what do I know? I only watched the whole trial. It wasn't BECAUSE he was black, it was BECAUSE they made the jury believe Mark Fuhrman was a racist cop who wanted to frame a black man.

Because Johnny Cochran and Robert Shapiro wouldn't have been able to raise reasonable doubt based on RACE and a possible setup led by a white, racist L.A. Cop!! Actually he is sort of right. The racial things done/said by the cops did play a big part in him being acquitted in the murder trial. Not all of it, but a big part.

But that's maybe one out of thousands of cases where it actually helped someone to be a black man in court.

OK, now I understand what you're saying and I sort of agree with you. But I would still not say that being black "helped" him out. Cochran and Shapiro, like any other good lawyers, found a way to help their client. If he was white but still as famous, I say the same result happens...
