it really is a huge loss now that junes gone. i didnt know him as long as alot of yall knew him but he was nothing short of a cool ass dude with me. introduced me to alot of people, laced me with game and always left his house open for me if i needed to stop by. the shit that bothered me most is that they took a father away from his children. he was growing older and i think , atleast from my perspective, he was/did respect life alot more. like at the point in time i knew him he didnt fuck with no drugs or nothin and didnt even smoke weed anymore...he was just about his kids and his paper...but i cant say one negative thing about the dude. and im not the type of person to throw around the whole 'free ____' shit but thats one person i can think of, i wish could see the light of day.
real shit mayne. I remember when I first got on the phone wid him and he chopped it up and I said rum was my homey... he said lets connect.. and that is what happened. The conversation on conference call between Big June and Redrum was huge to me.. just the fact both been doing music and both never really crossed paths. After my trip down there, Big June would call me just to say whats up!!! He was telling me that everytime he talked to one of his homies, they'd always say "Yeah, I just talk to Rog". Its funny because I was just pushing music... but thru this process, I made alot of good homies and Big June is one of them.
Rum and Bandana gonna keep Big June's name in the music. But I'm tryna get more access to recording phone calls so I can get alot of the homies that is locked up to spit a verse to keep they name up. That's for Jayman, Jay Ru, Snapp, Don Diego, Lunchmeat, Big June, Marv Mitch... even Lil Hawk from CMG/Damu Ridas.
I cant say a bad thing about homey too. I wish he would have jumped on alot of tracks before this situation happened. But when his albums drops.. its a for sure copper!! Time to fly my kite to him.
