Several hours... Programming synths, finetuning chord voicings, auditioning hundreds of drum samples, recording live percussion, and many other tasks that go into professional production all take their time and aren't things that should be rushed.

It depends on how much inspiration I've got in my head at the moment... sometimes I can wake up in the night and make something hot in a couple of minutes, while sometimes I can't get anything right and it'll take me a couple of hours. Some of my beats can be found at: www.myspace.com/AzraelAzFMA (and yeah, I'm the same person as 'Sininen Sotilaz'... but I got banned before!)

Respect one, peace...

I take alot of time with my stuff, Like Bumpus was saying I spend alot of time programming synths, chopping samples and browsing through alot of drums and loops.

After tracking all my stuff I arrange everything where I want it and throw in breakdowns and shit

Then I put even more time in mixing, getting my levels and pans right then throw in the Eq and stuff

Sometimes I can kick a nice beat out in an hour or so other times I'll work and quit and continuously go back to it till it works for me.
