You know what, i do believe i'm more qualified than most people on this site when it comes to Football, because i used to play for a former Bundesliga (now 2nd Bundesliga) team until i was 16 and could have become a pro player, if i didn't decide to go to high school in the US and focus on my education. I've been living, breathing, and PLAYING this fucking game for over 20 years. You don't see me come into threads about American Football or Basketball and try to school people on the subjects, because then I would be the delusionary hypocrite. Im not here to talk shit, but give you a somewhat objective point of view. Objectively, the USA and Mexico are in one of the lower tiers of Football and that is FACT, not hating. Please just be real on the subject and admit that the US, as the great sports country it is, has talent and prospects, but at the end of the day, they havent done shit, won shit or impacted Football as much as you think.

and this is just plain wrong :
USA,Mexico,Honduras,Costa Rica>Australia, Japan, Korea's, Iran, Saudi Arabia

I see those teams on the same level right now. Australia, Japan, Korea and Iran are really not to be underestimated and defnitiely NOT much worse, if even, than USA, Mexico or Honduras.
You guys should be lucky that you don't have to face Brasil, Chile, Uruguay or Argentine in the qualifiers, otherwise your appearances in the WC would be close to none.

U.S does have a shit load of talent, but some never get scouted because of favoritism and all the suburb kids fill in the soccer spots just to get the free Scholarship ride even though most are mediocre talent. A shit load of Raw talent weren't born in the U.S but lived here all there lives but are fucked off by Schools. Even some born in the U.S don't want to play for them because of culture clashes, for example dude from Italy.

The only way for new immigrants to be seen now is playing in small soccer leagues with not so good coaching, deteriorating there full potential. This is why our U.S team isn't and won't be good, until favoritism and socialism is eradicated in the country and they let the best players move up. This goes for every sport not just Soccer but you see it more in soccer out here.

rossi had planned all along to play for Itlay, It probably didn't help that Bruce Arena didn't go out of his way to at least and try and persuade him, but I think it was a lost cause if he did.

and thanks for your depressing life story in a paragraph, I could care less you played in Budesliga, and somehow makes you think that you are more qualified. My bestfriend played for Boise State football, was the shit at high school, middle school are throughout his whole life. that fool didn't know SHIT when it came to the NFL, shit he didn't know about college that much. he just played football. whatever tho.

I guess my whole thing, oh because i'm a USMNT fan, my opinions are delusional, I'm not qualified, cause its not the "cool" thing to like in soccer, which is American soccer.

I'm sorry maybe if I was a fan for Brazil or Itlay, Or Germany my point would be more valid? bullshit

I know USA isn't winning back to back world cups, and always competing in FIFA tournaments. I'm aware, I just support my country.

Anyway, dali is right. I'm not tryin to hate on the US, I think some of their players are dope, but they have the 2nd easiest route to the WC (besides asia). Also, what they did in the confed cup was lucky as fuck, I swear they scored on every chance they had. They'll get did in the WC like '06

theres a difference to supporting your country and being realistic. sometimes you swear the usmnt is better than one team or their players are better than so and so when it simply isnt the case. They are nothign to be sneezed at I'll give you that, but they are far from world beaters

Mate, the USA in football (soccer) is like the spoilt child who gets given everything. You guys have had an easy cakewalk into the world cup everytime. How many spots do you get allocated? You guys get 4.5 spots allocated while you know how much Australia had??? 0.5!!!!

Last WC we beat Uraguay in a 2 leg playoff, not a fucking easy task (I was there best game ever) and made an impact in the WC only to get fucked by a diving italian scum. So my point is we had to play world class teams throughout our history to even qualify and now we got Asia and you can bet your ass we will be in the WC EVERY TIME, we got hunger and we got heart!!

Yes, you are supposed to score on your chances but how often does a team score on every single opportunity? There's saves, the post, etc. Each game the US had 1-2 shots and 1-2 goals
