I was going to bump this thread up, but I'm caught up in school work like a mofo...

Anyways I agree with what EDJ said, and thats we need to take action. However the one problem is getting the message out and making brothas and sistas believe in it. How do you tell a brotha that buying German Bonds is better than buying a new pair of air force ones? We are a stubborn group of people I tell ya...

From what i've seen most mexicans aint tryin to unite with any race...go to brownpride.com and you'll see what i'm saying, one dude in there got a signature that says "Anyone that isn't mexican should be sterilized"..

And from dealing with alot of mexicans most of the ones i've met are more racist than damn near any other race....I hear the word nigger and "mayate" all the time when i'm kickin it with em, i'm white so they might be comfortable sayin it around me but wouldnt say it around a black person....and let me say that i'm not bashing the mexican race whatsoever, it's just the majority of mexicans i've met held these views.

ive had a similar experience. the majority of mexicans i have met are the same way but......the ones who grew up around blacks and the nortes and surrenos(check spelling) im cool with them. i can chop it up with them all day long.

What black person gives a fuck about the "History of America"? Learning that bullshit is a slap in the face to most African Americans. You hear about the consititution, Declaration of Independence, and America during those years but you're rarely taught how slaves contributed to this country. I have absolutely ZERO interest in learning about the "Declaration of Independence". A document that claimed all men were equal, yet some of the HYPOCRITES that created and signed that document owned SLAVES there damn self.

Classes we need more of is.....

-Economics: Not just Economics in general but how they apply to Blacks. This will open up the minds of many blacks in this country.

-African American history: This class is taught in a lot of schools, which I have no problem with, but there needs to be more of it.

-African History: Great African civilizations and interesting African Kings and Queens who ruled this earth. One of them being Tunka Manin or Tenkamenin :classic:, or how about the Queen Nzinga of Angola? Probably the boldest mofo to grace the continent of Africa...One thing a person would learn if they took that class is that Africans were doing very well, they weren't apes or savages like they are portrayed to be. You could easily say Most Africans were better off than the Europeans during those times. What was going on in Europe before the slave trade? Plagues, diseases, homelessness, overpopulation etc.

We also need to start young, we got to teach black folks there history, Africa, and Economics in elementary school.
