you guys are on crack if you believe mayweather would embarrass manny! crack i tell ya!

mayweather WILL NOT beable to withstand manny's constant barrage of punches from every angle possible...trust me! he might beable to for a few rounds but after that its over for him. his defense and backpedaling style of fighting wont save him in this fight.

^^Mayweather also is a FANTASTIC counter puncher, in addition to his great defense. Manny is volnurable to the counter shots, see his two fights with JMM for examples.

I actually think it's a pretty even match up, but I give the edge to Manny for two reasons: 1). Mayweather's long layoff (will be 1 and half to almost 2 years of layoff by the time they fight) and 2). Manny will bring it from round 1 to round 12, even if he's getting countered, which means he'll throw more and probably land more shots whereas Mayweather likes to take rounds off, so I see Manny winning more rounds then losing.

Manny will run into not just counter punching, but speed, power, experience, body punching (Ask Hatton bout that). Mayweather won't be sitting in front of Manny waiting for him to break him down. Mayweather is faster than Manny on a slow day. He'll tie Manny up before he lets him assault him. I'm a Manny fan, who has watched him improve every fight, but unless Mayweather got old overnight like De La Hoya did, he would be overmatched. Floyd won't head hunt Manny because his body will be wide open as he walks him down, and he's way too good of a defensive fighter to let Manny rough him up on the inside. yall bein fooled into thinkin he can beat Mayweather based on the De La Hoya fight, and this is the same reason Mayweather might be tempted to come back and destroy him. He's the perfect fight for Mayweather.

And for Judah, he also gave Cotto fits before he ran out of steam. If he took his conditioning seriously, he would have given any fighter problems, but later in his career he didn't so that's that. End of the day, he did give Mayweather fits until Mayweather adjusted and started to go to the body, and then Judah was a sittin duck.

I've read in several places that Floyd is nowhere near boxing shape, and a year long layoff is enough to give even Floyd some ring rust.

And I think you're exaggerating quite a bit when you say that Floyd is faster than Manny on a slow day.

Floyd is a very slow starter, and hardly throws more than 1 or 2 punches at a time.

I honestly just see him being outworked by Manny.

Manny > Hatton and Zab. its not even close!

being fooled? you think we just now started paying attention to boxing here? lol

mayweather is a good boxer, nobody in their right mind will argue that. they will argue that mayweather has NEVER fought anyone of manny's caliber though. floyd might have the speed, defense and counterpunching ability to withstand the manny barrage for a few rounds but with the way pac uses his unorthodox, constant pressure and punching angles floyd wont have a chance. he has NEVER been put to the kind of test pacman will put him too.

Floyd has struggled against quick pressure fighters before though, let's not forget Castillo who a lot of people think Floyd lost to

@ 206: I didn't mention Castillo cause I think Floyd lost that 1st fight, though back then he had many hand issues. He clearly won the rematch though. Put that clip up too since you puttin up clips. LOL Back then Castillo would have beat Manny too. Maybe not now, but back then he would have.

@ Argentin3: you must be jokin bout the quality of fighters fam. Manny is a good fighter but he aint "never" fought a fighter the caliber of Mayweather my friend, don't get it twisted. I mean he only fought outside of 130 twice now, and the only reason in my opinion he beat De La Hoya is because De la hoya only fights once a year for the past 5 years so he aint the same De La Hoya of years past. Mayweather beats any and every opponent manny has fought. I can name more than one opponent I think would have beat Manny. Anybody willin to bet on this fight might as well hand me your money, I can make a better investment for you, like buyin property on the moon. LOL. I like Manny and all, but come on now.

Back in 2002 Manny was fighting at 122. LOL, and the hand problems wasn't what was giving Floyd problems. It was the constant body work and pressure. Castillo was cutting off the ring, and not giving Floyd anywhere to run. He won that first fight hands down.

I can name fighters that I think can whoop Floyd as well, and guess what ? He's had the chance to fight them, but was too pussy to do so.

He left his division when it was overflowing with talent.

The guy is just afraid to lose.

Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, and Antonio Margarito.

The one thing Floyd lacks, Manny has in abundance. HEART.
