Most people bitchin the most don't really follow boxing. Floyd has done stuff like this more than a couple times, he just didn't lay the dude out when he did it.
As a huge boxing fan, I'm a little salty the fight ended like that when it was starting to get interesting. Might've been the best thing that could happen to Ortiz other than winning though to be honest.

Seriously though Ortiz got what he deserved. U don't intentionally headbutt someone then kiss them on the cheek and not expect to get popped in the mouth.

where are u getting this info from. i follow boxing pretty close and u are incorrect. pacquio refuses to the olympic style testing that floys wants to do. but why are people continuing to act like floyd mayweather wont be taking the same test a s manny would. they wud be taking the same test. many duz not want to do it because he refuses to give blood a day before a bout
Mayweather has already come under fire in boxing circles for refusing to agree to a fight with pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and Saturday’s events could serve to further tarnish his reputation.
By picking on an elderly and respected figure such as Merchant in what can only be seen as a classless and unnecessary move, he did nothing to improve boxing’s image.
Merchant insisted that Mayweather’s motivation for sparking the verbal sparring session was because he feared facing any more tricky questions.
“I don’t really think I could have kicked his [expletive] 50 years ago, but I would have tried it,” Merchant said. “What happened? I think Floyd Mayweather knew that the next question was going to be about why he won’t fight Pacquiao. That’s still the question that will linger long after this fight.”

Clearly a set up... A little chat in the ear , reff is looking away and being given the signal that this was when dud was going down... head bunt was a set up too... it was suppose to go down like this. for the past 5-6 yrs, ppl haven't been put in front of him. he (al heyman and gang) have been selecting who gets put in front...in a suspect way
i wouldnt be surprised if after pacman either gets beat by marquez, or wins but comes away all battered....then team may will maybe be more willing for the fight to happen
