in order to be a mayweather fan, you have to completely ignore reality. wasn't it all about the tests? manny agrees to take it and now there's something else. lol, it's hilarious how they always ignore that video, ain't nothin' these groupies can say about it.

last time I checked, floyd originally demanded a 14 day cutoff for testing. even though he didn't hold himself to that same cutoff for the mosley fight(they stopped testing at 18 days). pac agrees to the 14 day cutoff, then floyd changes it. now pac agrees to the up to 24 hour cutoff for testing and now floyd starts demanding something else.

According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, his Superstar fighter and Pound For Pound King Manny Pacquiao has agreed to full random Blood testing for a potential fight with long time rival, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mr. Arum has been reported as saying - ‘We have agreed in the Pacquiao camp to unlimited random testing done by a responsible, neutral organization. We don’t believe USADA is a neutral organization.

‘I don’t think anybody’s test is as vigorous as the test administered by the Olympic Organization. And we can arrange for the Olympic Organization to handle the test under the supervision of the Athletic commission respective of the state where the fight is going to be held.
doesn't get anymore clearer than that and that was said back in july. GOT EM!!.

Nice article but I see and watch a lot of things on boxing and as far as I know he has never agreed to testing up to 24 hours before the fight. If he has changed his mind then once its officially announced then we will have sumthin. I dont think he has agreed to it myself despite that quoted article u typed. Also are u sure about that Mayweather/Mosley testing because I was sure they were tested atleast a week before the fight if not closer? Got Em!!

It was 18 days. They could have tested closer if they wanted to but didn't. With the ortiz fight the last test was like 10-14 days out, something like that. But yeah, pac, arum, roach they've all been saying any type of testing is fine for some time now. Testing shouldn't be an issue.

As far as what he has a peace of who knows but I can say the mand made around 40 mill for that Ortiz fight and if he fought Manny he would easily make around 70 mill. Got Em!!
Right, he made $25 million + some of the cut for the PPV. So he probably got around $32-$35 million for the Ortiz fight.

the other thing you have to remember is that Ortiz only got $2 million gauranteed with a small upside of the PPV, so Floyd got like 90% of the purse or something crazy like that and Ortiz got 10% or less of the purse. Obviously Floyd would have to get 50/50 with Pacquiao so $70 million is likely pushing it. More realistically both Pac & Floyd should walk away with around $50 million, which is still absolutely absurd for one fight. But neither Floyd or Pac can make that kind of money against anyone else in the sport.
