Flamez was a great idea before "Feature..." took so long coming out anyway, at least the Kutt fans had SOMETHING to bump between BLEVE and now. Besides, that couldn't possibly hurt the new album. Only people who even knew of Flamez were die hard Tech/Kutt fans. Even if you're a Tech fan, if you don't follow Kutt like THAT, then you don't even know (or care) Kutt dropped a mixtape.

Flamez was hot, but i was hoping it was gonna be on some newer instrumentals.
Well as most people know the mixtape started in like 2005, and then the project was canceled. Then in 2007 they finally decided to release it with the material that was already recorded plus a few newer tracks.

I think Kutt came hard on the mixtape even if the beats were older. I know if I was having to pay for all the studio time that was put into the project I wouldn't have wanted to start back over at the beginning when I already had over half of the project completed. I think that's why he kept all the old material.

I could have sworn he said 2005 in the interview I did with him, but I haven't watched that video in ages... O well even if it did start before B.L.E.V.E. my statement about the old material staying is still a valid point.

Tis what I thought. It started as a prequal to B.L.E.V.E. before Travis put an end to it. Kutt then picked it back up in 2005, a tracklist was even released with a "coming soon" notice and some snippets in late 2005.

yea, during the Strange Noize VIP in chicago they played it over the speakers... They busted out dancin and shit and spit there verses to some tracks... Pretty cool shit . Some of the stuff I wasnt feeling as much because it was softer... I bet Ill end up liking Flamez better.

Yes it was a smart move because people need to here Kutt if Strange wants him to do well as a solo artist. I wish S&S would have given us something between albums. My Best Buy didn't even carry their CD when it came out, so I have still yet to hear it.
