Five Guys Burger & Fries

well i had my try at five guys burger. ordered a basic cheese burger with grilled onions and mushrooms. regular fries and a regular drink. they give you more than enough fries and more than enough drink (free refills). but as far as taste goes.
the burger patties don't have any real taste it all comes from the toppings you choose. my bro got the five guys "all the way" burger which is all the toppings in black (list about 5 or 6 toppings and condiments).
gets you full and lazy but i would say it's over priced and over rated. in and out got all the flavor and cheaper prices. but their fries suck. so when it comes to value and taste.
five guys comes up short.
we ordered 3 burgers (one order got fucked up, so did this ladies next to us) one regular fry, 2 regular drinks total came out to 27 or 28 dollars.
not worth it to me.

Whoa...what? The only thing better than their burgers ARE the fries.
BTW, the best burger in the entire city is at Bad Albert's in Ballard....The Dock St. Burger has won multiple awards for a reason.

I finally tried this place the other day. I think the only place in San Diego is on base at Coronado. I got the bacon cheeseburger with everything except pickles. Got regular fries and a drink. Now I ain't a huge fatass but I always finish everything I order. But damn they give you a shit ton of fries. The burger was pretty damn big as well. It definitely got me full and I really liked the food, but it's a bit pricey for me. Overall it was between 11 and 12 bucks. I can feed myself and my girl for that same amount at another fast food place, but I won't be going to Five Guys very often (unless there's another one besides the one at Coronado that I don't know about) so I won't be complaining about the price too much. Overall, great place that I probably would never have known about had it not been for this thread and when I get the chance I'll be going there again.
