i think playa rae going to do some things. and if jae rilla starts putting stuff out again he can blow. i also like gangsta reese, game insane, convic and shea. but since i moved out of the 408 im not up on the new commers, so if yall got anyone cd that spits let me know where i can peep it out. jaz also has is also tight but i havent heard anything from him since psychopathic. does anyone know how is new album is and where i can pick that up

There's a group BayArea51 - One of them from Oakland and the other from San Jo. I heard dude from SJ, when he git outta da pen he gonna drop a solo.
He makes his own beats too.
The BayArea51 album "Classified" slaps hard, but it's a little too street for the radio... Hopefully they gon come wit some radio-friendly shit... But personally, I like that grimey turf shit...

Speakin' of Trees, 007 Goon Squad (187KillaLoc&Mr.Solo) had that 2 song release in 96. I heard some of their other songs at that time... They was hellu hard! They represented the O.G. San Jo - The blue-headed stepchild of the bay. "Not from the bay so call me a playa killa" - Wow. That wuz from an unreleased cut. Definitely kept the muder rate down by not releasing that one. San Jo would've probly been a lot different if that album had vere seen the light of day.
FBG dropped a clean album in 96 - Their 1st song "Welcome to the Southbay, fool this is 408, an' if ya didn't know G'z out here gang bang"
Jaz dropped sum clean albums, Gangsta Reese (both of 'em on the Full Clip album)... AK9 is said to be puttin it down real nice and his sound can attest to that. Brothas from San Jo have been through a lot. From the olskool gangbang shit to being the bayarea's southern playground, it's been a wild ride.

Did I say we weren't tight? I got plenty of love for all from the Southbay. Just alot of cats don't get mentioned. My whole point was to mention those that dont get mentioned not to exclude anyone out. The Southbay consists of many cities I rep, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Santa Teresa, Cupertino, E.P.A., San jose, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Freak-Mont, Milpitas, all that. Time for all those cities to get on this forum and rep. Us San jo cats stay reppin. Much love to all the southbay cities mentioned. Oh and as far as earlier on this thread. Even though I wasn't after nobody on this thread, we need to stop acting like kids on this forum and on the street. Its funny how if you dont mention someone they think you got a problem with em, even if you gave them props. Just time to grow up. Tired of this lil kiddy shit. This post is about "who "we," think is gonna be the first to blow in the Southbay," not anything else. Kontac stated his opinion and its respected, let everybody else have theirs. Done....Oh and PLaya Rae finna be the cat ta blow.
