That is understandable, but it would take an attack of great porportions to bring upon suffering to the American people, and when such a force hits, I do not see it distinguishing between skin color. Unless it is an attack from within, a civil war, then I can see whites being targeted.

When I speak of the majority vote, I am not refering to ballots or elections, I am talking about public opinion. For example, when slaves were brought to America, the citizens of this country had this influence in them that blacks were inferior and less than human. Now if you have 1. This type of influence and the authority to deliver it, as well as 2. an audience of the same kind who are easily deceived *and* they represent the majority, then you have the majority vote. If Americans brought slaves over from Africa, but the majority (whites) were sympathetic to these slaves, and rejected slave trading, would we be having this discussion right now? But because the majority was easily influenced in believing blacks were inferior, it furnished emense power over slaves to those who drove them over in ships.
