There's hundred of albums not mentioned that's shitting on season from front to back. All outkast, scarface albums are killing season. Scarface my homies V's all eyes on me would've been a great poll also.

props to him for a plaque. but honestly what good is the plaque now when he dropped how many albums after that one. thats just like coolio just now going platinum for that gangsta paradise album from 1995. it makes him look like a underachiever or has been that cant evolve. but anyways sots shouldnt even be in the same catergory as all eyes on me. this like the only place i ever saw anyone praise that album

the siccness has spoken mr. manson. all eyez on me is the choice for best hip hop/rap album. i will revisit this again tho. however the next bracket ima do is best song. after that i will do best rapper and best group.

Coolio cant evolve, and is a has been. i wouldnt consider him an under achiever tho. fuck that album, his single went multi plat years ago. Voyage went multi plat too. 99% of rappers wont touch one plat single.

i was calling Lynch a under achiever. and refering to coolio for exmaple saying his album came out same time and went platinum that year.

Coolio had a much bigger budget and a lot more promotion as an artist... Lynch is an underground artist and Coolio was mainstream... Really no comparison imo.

Lynch was signed to major remember bc he was on priority records and black market they just didnt push him hard for what ever reason and ced probaly fucked with the budget money honestly. now someone like Esham for example he was underground no major backing him or nothing. everyone has different definitions of what underground is also. my definition of underground is being independent label funding your own projects with no major label backing or investment.

Lynch wasnt on Priority. he was on Black Market. Black Market had Priority distro. thats indie. just like Master P was indie when he was selling millions with the help of Priority. they wasnt funding his projects. they was just giving him an outlet to put the album in stores nation wide.

Coolio on the other hand was signed to Tommy Boy. which was Warner Bros. thats major. he had a bigger machine funding his project.

AEOM was one of the most overrated albums of all time, a few good songs filled with a ton of filler songs with a bunch of terrible Outlawz features. IMO 1 disc and cutting out all the wack ass Outlawz features throughout the whole album would have made it a lot better.
