I've never been the doode to say what's up to the only Mexican in a room or chill with my own race when I was feeling left out. Call me open minded or whatever you want but I never felt that way.

During high school I only chilled with the black folk, then we started mixing it up. We had Samoans, Mexicans, Cambodians and Viets in our group. I think the people I kicked it with in high school were the most diverse... I'm not trying to single out one race but the fact that there's so many flip's in the bay is surprising that most of my other friends don't have flip partners in their circle.

The one's I know are always trying to get me into a pyramid scheme LOL

All the ones I knew in school only hung out with their own people. And I know it's not all of them, but the ones I knew hated black people.......yet dressed ike them......and even called each other "nigga"......ROFL, anyone else find that weird?

my cousin is a filipino from union city. back when i was selling fake jordans, i had been selling them for about 3 months and making good money and nobody complained. This fool actually caught me! You can't sell fake jordans to a filipino. them fools know their shit. the funny part was i started flashing on him cuz thats my cousin and i thought the shoes were real. when i found out they were fake LMAO.

I'm Mexican and I've been cool with every Pilipino I know. $hit I grew up with Pilipino nextdoor neighbors. They were all cool as fuck. Their house smelled like vinegar, but it's all good. haha


But, yes I agree, most races do kick it with their own kind. I'm Mexican and my closest friends are all Mexican. It just so happened to be like that because of where I live. So I think demographics play a big role in who you kick it with.


Maybe all those Pilipinos that kick it with eachother just happened to grow up in the same neighborhoods and go to the same schools/work.


I do agree with respecting other races when their around your own. I believe in making those other cultures feel comfortable around my own. Speaking another language in their face is disrespect.

Blame America and society, it's just the way our neighborhoods and cities are built. We allow Natural Segregation to occur.

lol, if a bunch of people around you speak another language when you are around, learn how to say something to them, its the perfect ice breaker. i knew these 2 mexican cats that would always talk to eachother in spanish, i learned how to jump in, and they became my best friends my senior year of highschool. and the language barrier made everything funny as fuck, i remember this fool named solomon was trying to act hard, and one of the mexicans pulled me aside and says "ayyy, salmon, isnt that a feesh(fish)" i laughed so hard. solomon then got the nickname salmon, which eventually made him start handing out death threats, which is also hilarious. lol. good times

I love how everytime someone asks a pointed racial question everyone comes in on some MLK shit like 'yea japanese people speak Japanese...but it dont matter whatever every race color you are you all speak a language'. 'Yea Mexicans are from Mexico, but its 2009 and we all have different races, colors, etc'. 'Yea I shot your sister, but everyone has a different race,color, etc'.

It's like a Sesame Street episode on repeat. Obviously there are different races and colors in the world. That's news to no one. Visualizer is not suggesting Filipinos are evil people who rape their animals and drown baby kittens.

Asking an honest question based on observation is allowed.

That said, I've grown up in the SF/Daly City area all my life and yes Filipinos be hookin each other up and excluding people. We used to call it the Filipino network. "Aww shit man hes out of a job." "it's all good. He got the network"

Shit is a bigger advantage than the Verizon people.

Is there anything wrong with it? No. That's just how they do their thing. Filipinos being clicked up, exclusive, or helping each other out have never hindered me in life.

What you wanna do is get in on the group so they include you. But it's really whatever in the long run. It's sort of like life in general. There are exclusive groups you may or may not ever be able to join. It's just how things are.
