I have nothing against them, I grew up a whole bunch of flip's during school... love the lumpia, know a lil tagolic, but why is it that filipino's are hella close knit. It seems that they're always kicking it with only people of their race, I've noticed it at my job and around some of my filipino friends. I'm not saying they are racist but it feels like they exclude people who aren't flip.

blood, theres like 6 of em at my job. they chicks and they always speaking tagalog knowin goddamn well they speak english but their convo is too good for me i guess....

My ex is filipino. I dont speak tagalog but when i went to her family dinners they never spoke a lick of fuckin english around me but they all knew how to. Sittin there silent not being included in anything and not knowing what they were talkin about. Fuckin AWKWARD.. Her mom once said she wished i was a filipino so she could have conversations with me. Like what? You speakin english now. To insult me?? LOL. The only time they did speak english was when they played that karaoke shit..

Yeah that relationship didnt last.

My chicks Filipino and yea they stay hella close knit like her cuzs and shit are closer than any fam I know but theres not maney Flips around here so yea I havnt really been able to see if shed stray away into another group. but whenever she finds out someone is Filipino shell be like NO WAY like Columbus just hit america.

Same here... I have friends of all races, and I agree that some races like to stick together and so on but I haven't seen people as close knit as filipinos.

The one's who are or were my friends back then only associate with people of their race now... It's like why the sudden change, and I think family does dictate that

I only notice Pinole and Hercules flips kicking it in close knits. I fucks with alot of filipino cats in DC/S. City area. They all cool as fuck. And if you're from the Richmond/San Pablo area, those flips are cool as fuck too.

Some V-Town/Fairfield flips are cool tho. But I mostly notice just Hercules/Pinole.

Yeah that's kinda like everybody from what I've seen. Samoans kick it wit Samoans, Viet with Viet, Korean with Korean, and Filipino wit Filipino.. I know with Koreans, we all go to the same churches, live in close proximity to eachother, and since most of us are 2nd or 1 1.5 generation, our parents all know eachother and so forth.

All the ones I knew in school only hung out with their own people. And I know it's not all of them, but the ones I knew hated black people.......yet dressed ike them......and even called each other "nigga"......ROFL, anyone else find that weird?

It's just natural to be around people of your nationality, especially when you dont know anyone else and your the new guy trying to fit in..they're the ones who know off the bat... your culture, heritage, inside jokes etc.

i grew up with whites then mexicans in elementary school. in middle school it was whites, mexicans, and some filipinos. in high school i had hella white friends, some asian friends and a couple black friends. i now live with black people

lol

it doesnt matter to me as long as youre cool

shit im filipino and its like that for probably every other race esp minorities...say your filipino and you see another filipino in a room full of other races its only natural to try to be koo wit that other filipino cause u know yall already got somethin in common you know what i mean
