Yup. SEGA was responsible for porting alot of great fighters onto their consoles. That's part of the reason why the Saturn and Dreamcast are two of my favorites consoles.

Dreamcast was the shit. It had perfect arcade support and everything. It just wasn't going to stand up against GC/PS2/xbox when they dropped(it was made to compete with them) so Sega got out of the game.

SEGA still makes software though. But yeah, as far as the console business goes, they're thru. It's fucking sad though. I grew up a SEGA fan with my Master System, my Genesis, my Nomad, my Game Gear; and now my Saturn and Dreamcast, which I still be playing alot. The Japanese Saturn is a dream for those who are into shoot em ups (shmups), as it has a huge library. Same goes for 2D fighters.
