I think it's from June to June.

Many Pacquiao
Dominates and TKO's Miguel Cotto for the WBO Welterweight belt
Dominates Joshua Clottey over 12 rounds defending his title

Floyd Mayweather
Dominates Juan Manuel Marquez over 12 rounds
Dominates Shane Mosley over 12 rounds

Georges St-Pierre

Unanimous Decision over Dan Hardy
Dominates Thiago Alves in decision

Frank Edgar
Decisions B.J. Penn for UFC Lightweight Championship
Submissions (Rear Naked Choke) Matt Veach

I think Pacquiao gets the nod because of the size difference between Mayweather and Marquez, Marquez going up two weight classes to fight him and floyd didn't even bother making weight (which cost him $600,000).

So to me, it's really Pacquiao's domination and TKO over champion Cotto, then defending the belt in a lopsided 12 round decision against top 5 welterweight in Clottey. Pac fought real welterweights.

Floyd fought and dominated a lightweight (Marquez) and had a great win over aging 38 year old Mosley.

Frankie edgar bc he became champ after only 4 years of fighting... anyone think of that?
but Veach is a can and a lot of people thought BJ won that fight.

One I just thought of is UBEREEM. 4-0 in MMA with a top 10 win over Rogers. 3-1 in K-1 with wins over Aerts and Teixeira, only loss to Badr Hari.

i voted GSP cause i actually watched both fights, watched Edgar's fights too but GSP was better in his fights against someone who was suppose to be his toughest opponet in Alves and didnt even really get punched against an elite striker in Dan Hardy

Lots of good fighters to choose from. I like GSP or Pac if I had to choose but Jose Aldo has been a dominating force in his weight class. Either of those 3 could take IMO.

They have all had dominating performances.

Bigger fights don't necessarily mean the better/more meaningful fights.

I just how pac beat welterweight champ in cotto, and defended his belt against a solid top 5 welterweight in clottey. Whereas floyd beat marquez, which was a meaningless fight (no titles on the line or any significance in any weight class), and beat WBA champ Mosley (in which floyd refused to accept the belt for some reason).

It could go either way though depends on how you look at it.
