the OWC matches it places me against in 88 overall and im 78 first time and most people seem to have an 82 reach mines 76 and then i get placed against an 83 and i kept gettin some bullshit power punch that would daze me and i be dropping combos off and wouldnt do shit to the other dude also first match was pure lag then it said waiting for user and disconnected so i get a DNF some bullshit
i was trying to but it kept giving me the dude in 88 and then got the dude with 83 i just sparred with a person in the gym oscarl06 he was an 85 he knocked me down 3 times i came back and knocked him down twice he didnt get up after the 2nd one and i ended up winning is there more chance of getting a closer fight to my level by creating a heavyweight guy?
^^^^u just gotta make ur dude stronger man. unless ur hella gifted on the sticks u could beat dudes with higher levels than u. Its fucked up that u have to pay extra for boosts and shit but i guess most people r doing it. Im not gonna lie. my fighter is on steroids. He's a 90. I just beat this dude that was a 91. but its whatever.
on a different note. how the fuck do people be having 500 plus fights? this game just came out this month. I'd be fightin dudes that have records like 375-50 or some shit. These fools must play 24-7. I thought i played alot. Got the wife yellin at me n shit. The fools that have belts fought like a 1000+ times!! And their punch stats show that they average 1500 punches a fight. is that shit for real?

Your character gets capped though at some point. If you notice when your applying your XP there is a max of 220. Plus the athletic boosters.
My guy is capped at 220/220 and I have a couple gold athletic boosters, a couple bronze and a silver so he's an 88 or an 89.
I went through legacy mode and retired as greatest of all time, that gave me a couple gold athletic boosters that beefs up my dude.
I also pre-ordered with gamestop and it came with 25,000 XP points, so that gave me a head start on the XP (once I figured out I had them).

And why do they keep putting the old bald headed version of Holyfield in the game? Everyone else is in their prime but Holyfield. Holy was in his prime when he first fought Riddick Bowe. They put the version of him in the game when he was struggling with John Ruiz....
