Fuck these old Ass boxers need to retire... No wonder mma is takin over the fight world when u still have Bernard Hopkins fighting for titles you know there is a serious problem...
you're an idiot, hopkins is a legend and one of the greatest fighters of all time. The reason he's getting title shots is because he's an extremely skilled fighter and still elite and he's currently #1 ranked Light Heavyweight in the world.

Archie Moore was a champion till he was 48 years old, George Foreman won the belt at 45. Old guys can be successful sometimes, this has been proven throughout the history of the sport.

Bullshit. Hopkins is a gym rat, and has taken meticulous care of his body over the years, and when you think about it...how many wars have you seen Bernard in over the years? I can't think of any, and its hard to even remember times where he has even been clocked cleanly. So wear and tear has been minimal as well.

What he's been doing is extraordinary at his age, but I think its ridiculous that Pascal is trying to pull this shit. Oh well, contract is signed. Too late.

ummmm I love MMA as much as the next man, but that's fucking retarded. Dan Henderson is 40 years old and the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion. Randy Couture is fighting main card on the biggest show in UFC history against the guy that held the championship last year Lyoto Machida. There's alot of big MMA names that ain't exactly young.

Anderson Silva turns 36 next month,
Rich Franklin is 36 and was just in the co main event of a PPV,
Matt Hughes is 37 and was just in the co main event of a PPV recently,
Shane Carwin is 36 and just fought for the Heavyweight championship,
Cung Le is 38 and was just in the co main event of a Strikeforce show,

etc. etc. etc.

lmao

can't understand a word the french canadian fag in the pink shirt saying

exactly.

Probably the closest Bhop came to being in a war was his second fight against Echols. Now that was an entertaining fight! probably one of the most foul filled fights in modern times too, as Echols tried to beat hopkins at his own game and it backfired.

Interesting to note that Bhop and Echols absolutely hated eachother and in their press conference a fight broke out and punches were thrown. This is the only time I can recall when Bhop fought angry. I'm hoping the same happens to Pascal.

If anyone has some time to kill, do yourself a favor and watch Hopkins vs Echols II. Great entertainment, non-stop action, crazy fouls on both ends (body slams, rabbit punching, low blows, hitting on the break, you name it) and of course B-Hop in his prime showing of his skills
