Vargas is naturally the bigger, stronger guy in this one and when you compare his skills to Mayorga's, he looks like a master boxer in there. I gotta give Ricardo a chance because he has the pop to put Vargas down and out, but will it happen is the question. I can see Vargas outboxing him and winning a UD or even winning by TKO. It's a tough fight to pick because Vargas' chin can fail at any time especially if Ricardo gets him to brawl, but I think Ricardo will be the one that gets caught in this one. Vargas by TKO in the 6th.

B-Hop handed DLH his ass too, whats your point? Does that make Philly "harder" and LA "softer"?

Boxing is an organized man-to-man SPORT. DLH is a great boxer!

That don't make East LA compare to a place where law enforcement is on the backburner and seeing blood spilled over regime changes and real drug wars are commonplace and not over-stylized like they are here.

Life is just plain cheaper in a place like that than it is here, surely you can argee with that.

DLH and Vargas arent products of hostile surroundings, Mayorga is wild in and out of the ring on some bipolar shit. See what i'm saying at all?

Kermit Cintron Update
By Gabriel Montoya (July 18, 2007) Doghouse Boxing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minutes ago, DoghouseBoxing.com’s Gabriel Montoya was informed by the manager/trainer of Kermit “The Killer” Cintron, Manny Steward that Cintron has made a deal with Main Events to appear on the under card of the upcoming Fernando Vargas / Ricardo Mayorga fight September 8th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

“ Our goal is to keep Kermit active and the super fights will come," said Steward.

Of the other top welterweights, Steward named Antonio Margarito as the opponent he would most like to see Kermit in against.

“ Just like Wladimir [Klitschko] with Brewster, the signature fight of Kermit’s is the loss to Margarito. Despite a long layoff, two hand surgeries and not being able to really train properly going into the fight, people still hold that one against him.”

Since that loss Cintron has shown a great deal of improvement.

“ Time will tell how good he really is,” says a quietly confident Steward.

“ I think he knocks them all out,” Steward added.

Man, a Margarito/Cintron rematch as an undercard would be sick!!

Ahh shit ! Seems a little soon, but he only went two rounds deep in a dominating performance, so its realistic. Kermit is one of the most exciting fighters in the welterweight...throws some straight bombs.

I don't know if Margarito would be ready, but this seems like the most sensible fight for him, since he lost his fight with Williams.

Mayorga is going to lose by knockout. His fights are very entertaining though. Good lookin' 206 with the interview. I gotta order this one. Somebody is getting knocked out. They don't like each other at all. Will they hug or/and shake hands after the fight is over?
